Acryl-R SM8500

Acryl-R® SM8500 by Schnee Morehead is a high-performance sealant designed for exterior and interior building construction details. It is formulated from a high molecular weight acrylic latex polymer. It is non-flammable and has very low VOC. Acryl-R 8500 is a non-stringing product that is easily tooled. Excess material is easily removed with a water dampened cloth before cure. It is a single component, non-sag sealant able to withstand 50% total joint movement. It develops high adhesion to most common construction materials. These properties make it suitable for sealing a wide variety of joints between similar and dissimilar surfaces.
